8 Days Uganda Primates

All inclusive 8 days Uganda tour and holiday to see primates, enjoy comprehensive game drives, Uganda scenery, with game viewing on the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, elephant, lion, buffalo, hippo, and leopard among others. Track the fast moving chimpanzees in Kibale National Park and the endangered Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi. Enjoy unique tree climbing lions of Ishasha sector. This tour through Uganda is the perfect combination of nature, culture & animals and you will overnight in the best mid-range accommodations in Uganda.

Day One: Arrival to Uganda
You will be warmly welcomed to Uganda the pearl of Africa by our driver guide and me in Entebbe international airport, helped with your luggage to the car and later transfered to Kampala for your dinner and overnight at Hotel Africana (Mid-range) or Mt Zion Hotel (Mid Range)

Day Two: Transfer to Bwindi
Be met by our driver guide at your lodge early and leave Kampala in the morning after breakfast and be ready for a long journey drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This journey will take you south west of Uganda with a stopover at the equator for photographs and continue to Mbarara where you will have lunch, proceed to reach Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Lodge (Luxury) Trekkers tarvan Cottages(Mid-range) Gorilla friends(Budget) depending on which Gorilla permits are booked. Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day Three: Gorilla tracking
Leave your lodge early to the park headquarters for briefing by a ranger guide; enter into the Gorilla Sanctuary for your adventure also referred to the “highlight of the safari” as you closely view our closest cousins. Other Mammals can also be seen in the forest like rare golden monkey, Forest Elephants mention but a few. The park is known for its fascinating gorillas. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure. Day Four:Drive To Queen Elizabeth Park
After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha sector of the park famous for tree climbing Lions. We shall go for a game drive in search for the tree climbing lions, we may have a chance for other animals like the Topis, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes to mention but a few. After the game drive we shall continue to Mweya were we will spend a night at Bush Lodge or Ihamba lake side Lodge (Mid-range) Engiri Game Lodge (Budget)

Day Five: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Morning game drive through Kasenyi tracks and Kob mating grounds in search for lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Hyena, Giant Forest Hogs, and other game, we have a chance for a variety of savannah birds. There after we shall go for an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel believed to host the largest concentration of Hippos in Africa, a variety of migrant birds, we may have a chance to see a variety of other animals as they come to the channel for water. Day Six: Queen to Kibale
After morning cup of tea, go for a game drive in Kasenyi then in mid morning drive to Kibale Forest National park, we have a chance to view the Rwenzori Mountains from short range. Proceed to the park reaching at midafternoon check in your hotel for lunch Relax in the afternoon or we go for crator walks along the brez of the crator lakes in Kibale. Day Seven: Chimp Trek and Swamp walk
After morning early cup of coffee walk to the briefing point in Kibaale NP reported to be home to the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in the world. Thirteen (13) different species have been identified here. We shall go for Chimp tracking where we have a chance to see a variety of other primates like the Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Vervet, L’Hoerst and Red tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons, Red, Black and white Colobus Monkeys. Afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi wet land where we have a chance to see a variety of other primates like the Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Vervet, L’Hoerst and Red tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons, Red, Black and white Colobus Monkeys and birds. Day Eight: Kibale back to Kampala
At your lodge you will be served with early morning breakfast as you are preparing to head to Kampala or Entebbe for the flight .
